Professionalization of Solid Waste Management in Khan Younis, Rafah and Middle Governorates – Technical & Institutional and Management Services. 

The overall objective of the project is to professionalize the SWM services by standardizing the operating procedures and provision of direct coaching, training, and operational advice to the staff both technical and administrative of the service provider.

The services provided included the following;

  • Task 1: Assessment Phase & Preparation of Professionalization Action Plan.
  • Task 2: Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of JSC-KRM services:
  • Task 3: Implementation of Professionalization Action Plan: on-the-job training
  • Task 4: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Follow-up.

Task 5:  Provisional: Obtaining Third-Party Performance Certification; Obtain third- party performance certificates (i.e., ISO9000-01), compliance with Palestinian standards.
